To quickly provide GPU resources to even more customers, the container-type data center was built because it can be constructed in a much shorter time than a conventional data center. Building 3 at Ishikari Data Center, which was completed in 2016, took approximately three years and three months from planning to completion, while this container-type data center took approximately a year and a half from planning to completion.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the direct liquid cooling (DLC) system<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">*1<\/span> has been adopted. The use of the DLC system is expected to reduce the power consumption required for cooling, as it allows areas of the server generating high heat to be cooled with cold water, supplementing the air-conditioning system ordinarily used by SAKURA internet.<br \/>\nFurthermore, the conventional configuration limited GPU server capacity to two per rack, but the improved cooling capability allows up to five, thereby enhancing the facility\u2019s operational efficiency<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">*2<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The container-type data center has been newly equipped with \u201cNVIDIA H200 GPUs\u201d and will offer an H200 plan in \u201cKoukaryoku PHY\u201d bare metal GPU cloud services.<\/p>\n<p>As a digital infrastructure company, SAKURA internet will continue to ensure a stable supply of computing resources and contribute to the ongoing development of a digital society.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">*1 A cooling system that directly uses liquid to efficiently remove heat from servers<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">*2 The figures are based on the actual performance of our company\u2019s conventional configuration.
